~*~ A Special Commission Siamese Cat ~*~
I'm very excited to introduce Pogo - a lifelike siamese cat - to you!
Many, many hours went into this Siamese. Pogo was so much fun to create and photograph - I hope you love him as much as I do!
Pogo is a one of a kind artist cat completely designed and handsewn (no machine work) by me, Melisa Nichols. He is very detailed and as such he is his own unique individual and can not be duplicated ~ a true one of a kind.
Pogo is made from gorgeously soft recycled brown and off white mink fur.
I hand painted Pogo to shade the brown mink into the white so he would have realistic Siamese markings. He is so poseable and full of personality that you'll have a hard time putting him down! His fur is so luxurious that he is very touchable!
Pogo has a lot of detail in his sweet face. He has beautiful ice blue hand painted wide slit pupil glass eyes which I painted in detail. He has moveable eyelids which can be posed from wide open to almost fully closed- so he can be wide awake or asleep.
His nose is sculpted from leather. He has horse tail whiskers which I glued in so they won‘t pull out. He has a moveable mouth with a pink leather tongue. He has a full set of teeth which I hand carved from found deer antler.
Pogo's paws alone took a lot of time to create. They have individually wired toes (extra poseable) with hand carved moose antler claws. The claws are three way attached (wired, sewn & glued) for extra security.
Pogo is completely handsewn and filled with polyfill and an extra portion of cuddles. Instead of being jointed, Pogo has a wire skeleton so he can pose in almost any way a real cat can. His ears & tail are also wired. He can stand, but as he is so heavy, this does require some balancing. He is so fun to pose!
Pogo is 11" standing to the top of his head and 13" inches long (measurements do not include his tail or ears).

Pogo will arrive with special hang tags (they include his birthdate, a small picture of him, and my signature). He is a collectable siamese cat made for display only - not suitable for children due to small parts.
