“Acorn“

I'm very excited to introduce this little puppy to you!  He was so much fun to create and photograph!  

Acorn is a one of a kind artist dashchund puppy completely designed and handsewn (no machine work) by me, Melisa Nichols.  He is very detailed and as such he is his own unique individual and can not be duplicated ~ a true one of a kind.   

Acorn is made of very soft white faux fur.  I hand painted him with archival quality pigment.  He is so soft and poseable, and full of personality, that you'll have a hard time putting his down! 

 

 

This dashchund puppy is 6.5" to the top of his head and 7.5" inches long (not including his tail. 

 

Acorn is an open mouth puppy with a fabric inner mouth and leather handpainted tongue.  His mouth is wired, so you can move it for posing.

 

He has a lot of detail in his face.  He has premium black glass eyes that are beautifully dark and soulful. He has eye lashes and moveable eyelids (fabric).  His eyelids can be posed from wide open to almost closed - so he can be wide awake or asleep.

His ears are wired for posing and have been shaded inside.

His cute little realistic nose is sculpted out of fabric. 

 

Acorn’s paws have been thread & scissor sculpted.  They have hand shaded paw pads and hand carved moose antler claws.

 

He is completely handsewn and filled with polyfil, pellets and an extra portion of cuddles.  He has a strong wire skeleton so he can pose in almost any way a real puppy can.  He is so fun to pose!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Acorn will arrive giftboxed with special hang tags.  He is a collectable puppy made for display only - not suitable for children due to small parts.
